Fanon in 1952:
"(what I am about to say is utterly stupid, but all these lines only explicate, only make more flagrant, something vastly more stupid)"
from his remarkable "The 'North African Syndrome'" (.pdf, pg. 8)
his point in the essay seems entirely correct
regarding his mode of "stupid" expression, in his context here too we find the conceptual structure he flags to be beyond cavil
a "vaster" or originary stupidity must needs be vehiculated through the expressive medium of a smaller stupidity related to or drawn from the first
thus the form:
Stupidity0 → stupidity1
TiR however as always remains interested in an adjoining model:
→ (stupidity2...)
↗
Stupidity0 → stupidity1 →
↘
→ (stupidity3...)
wherein the stupidity that we recognize inevitably to transmit is generative of multiples, self-inflicted, unforeseen and usually deadlier, or if u like, more simply:
Stupidity0 → stupidity1 → stupidityn
which we might think of as the Stupidity Sandwich
